White Sand Volume 3 is the third and final graphic novel of the series White Sand. White Sand is set on the Dayside of the Shardworld Taldain. It is an adaptation of one of the novels Brandon wrote prior to being published. The script was adapted from prose form to graphic novel form by Rik Hoskin. After the artist change at the end of volume 2, Fritz Casas was selected as the artist for volume 3.[1][2] Coloring was done by Salvatore Aiala Studios, lettering was done by DC Hopkins, and editing was done by Joseph Rybandt.
Cover Synopsis[edit]
Underpowered and overwhelmed, Kenton tries to hold the Sand Masters together as forces political and personal conspire against them. Now, in one final push, Kenton must tap the most dangerous depths of his own abilities to combat the enemies within his own guild, and discover the truth behind the ambush that killed his father and almost destroyed the Sand Masters for good.[2]

Setting[edit]
White Sand is set in the cosmere on the Shardworld of Taldain, a planet locked between two suns--one large and one small--so that one side experiences perpetual light and the other perpetual darkness.
Magic System[edit]
The primary system of magic on Dayside is known as sand mastery. Sand mastery involves the the telekinetic manipulation of white sand, a process that leaves the sand black for a time, at the expense of the users water supply.
